A bit about Oregon
Typically, Oregon is divided into eight regions. These include the Oregon coast, the Rogue Valley, the Willamette Valley, the Cascade Mountains, the Columbia River Plateau, the Klamath Mountains, the Blue Mountains, and the Oregon Outback. Mount Hood and other well-known mountain peaks in the United States can be found in the mountainous western region of Oregon.
The Columbia River, which is located in northern Oregon, has had a significant impact on the local area's geological development. Thus, Oregon's topography is as diversified as both rainforests and deserts.
